There are people who affect our lives daily however they recede to the background; often leading to a lack of appreciation. Today we are spreading the appreciation we show our Metz Family everyday with the students and staff of Roberts Wesleyan College. As we take a look at those who dedicate so much of their time to make Garlock Dining Commons a safe and fun environment to grow as a community around a table of healthy food, we would like to remind you that these people appreciate you and your comments, so feel free to “feed us your thoughts” on our comments board.
Natalie is from Greece, NY and you may recognize her as the Hawks Grill Supervisor. She is currently in her third year with the Roberts Weslyean Metz Family. Natalie shared with me that her home sometimes feels like a zoo, and no wonder when she lives with two Boston terriers, two cats, a bunny, a hamster, a Savannah Monitor, a blue tongue skink, two bearded dragons, and two ferrets. Kevin is a line prep cook from Chili, NY who you’ve probably seen at the Bravo station or behind the Villa Toscana pizza station. A fun fact about Kevin is he does wonderful impressions and is always set on making people laugh. He truly brightens the kitchen with his amazing personality. There are so many people who help make Garlock a wonderful space for students and we would love if you join us in appreciating each and every member of our Metz Family. If you’d like to learn more about the rest of the faces behind the scenes keep an eye on our social media as we introduce you to a new person every Monday for #MetzMonday.
